Involving a major investment in the construction of the infrastructure and in productive capacity, it was classified as a project of national interest (PIN).
For its architectural lines the administrative area, designed by architect Ricardo Azevedo, will tend to mark the landscape and make a break with stereotypes related to the customary "simplicity" of industrial buildings.
The industrial area, conceived from "the inside out" in compliance with the requirements and criteria of the equipment to be installed – the Iberian Peninsula's biggest extruder – called for the definition of a complex system of technical channels and special foundations.
This project was fundamental to leveraging the Ermida industrial park, cementing Garcia, Garcia's presence in industrial construction of excellence.
