The French logistics operator chose GG to design its new centre. The prime location, procured by GG, close to the A28, Sá Carneiro Airport and the Port of Leixões, will enable the company to optimise its operational efficiency. 

Its proximity to the airport led to restrictions on the height of building. For this reason, major earthmoving was required, so that the platform and building could be set below road level.

Divided into 2 volumes, one a warehouse and the other an administrative block, the building was designed with its particular use in mind – cold chain and ambient temperature logistics for sensitive products, such as foodstuffs and medicines.
In functional terms, the logistics area is divided into 2 spaces – a 3,600 m2 ambient temperature warehouse and a 1,116 m2 controlled temperature warehouse (positive cold - 2 to 8 ?C).
The building is equipped with 20 loading bays for HGVs and 4 for vans, fitted with inflatable seals to minimise temperature losses and maximise energy efficiency. To increase energy savings, advanced insulation solutions were defined, for both walls and all entrances and exits, as well as an efficient air conditioning and cooling system.
