The organisation and construction characteristics of this building have allowed the creation of a modern, dynamic logistics unit that has been awarded, among others, the Real Estate "Oscar" in the "Best Industrial and Logistics Undertaking" category.

The new centre has the most advanced warehouse-management information and fire-detection and firefighting systems, as well as sophisticated intrusion and access-control and video surveillance systems.
Also underscored is the floor flatness, certified to TR34/2003 category 1 traffic for defined traffic and FM1 for random traffic, a pioneering characteristic in Portugal, ensuring fluid movement of cargo-handling equipment.
Of the materials and manpower used in the construction of the centre 81% were of Portuguese origin
