The German multinational entrusted Garcia Garcia with the construction of its new logistics center, located in the Ermida Business Park, Santo Tirso.

With 43.000 m2 of warehouse area, the building has a storage capacity of 55,000 pallets, more than 90 loading bays and 400 parking spaces. The building includes a semi-robotized warehouse with 40 m height and 6000 m2.
Investing on energy sustainability, the building is ISO50001 certified, an energy management system aimed at better performance, consumption and efficiency. Solar panels and intelligent lighting management, guaranteed by sensors, as well as cold rooms with a cooling system that operates with natural gases / fluids that minimize the harmful effects on the ozone layer, are some of the building features.
The building also has BREEAM certification, one of the main internationally recognized building sustainability certification systems, aimed to reduce operating costs and improve the environmental performance.
