The expansion of 2 industrial units, with a total area of 5,800 m2, comprised a 3,000 m2 frozen food storage room and a 1,800 m2 logistics area with controlled temperatures.
Unit 1 is a cold store for frozen food with a height of 12.5 metres and working temperatures of between 22 and 20 degrees below zero.
Unit 2, intended for logistics and shipping of end products, has controlled temperatures (between 10 and 12 degrees above zero) and is equipped with eight loading bays with Dock-IN systems and traffic lights.
Given the different temperatures in the two units, they are divided by a high performance isothermal panel to guarantee their thermal insulation. In unit 1, a 12-metre high advanced mobile shelving system was also installed, increasing the efficiency of the available space and maximising the usable storage area.
