CRIARTE – Construction with Intelligent Robotics and Revolutionary Architecture of Emerging Technologies - Project co-funded by Compete2030 (FEDER 01192200).
CRIARTE aims to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in the sector by developing large, autonomous robots capable of collaborating with humans in tasks that require verbal and non-verbal interaction.
The consortium is comprised of four partners:
- academic (ISEP and ISEC);
- collaborative laboratory (Built Colab);
- technological (Ingeniarius);
- industrial (Garcia).
Therefore, the main objectives are:
- Develop innovative solutions for human-robot collaboration;
- Promote sustainability and energy efficiency in the construction sector;
- Integrate augmented reality technologies and digital twins into construction management and execution;
- Create new methodologies that increase safety and reduce operational costs.
Garcia's participation aims, among other things:
- Define technical requirements for operational safety performance;
- Communicate project results;
- Design realistic construction site pilot environments that include data acquisition for sandwich panel assembly using an incrementally automated telescopic handler;
